A perfect trifle to use up leftover cakes!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cupchocolate cake, crumbled (or any leftover cake you have)
  • 1 cuplemon cake, crumbled (or any leftover cake you have)

Vanilla pudding:

  • 2and ½ cup milk
  • 2 tbspcorn starch
  • 3 tbspsugar
  • 1egg yolk
  • 1 tspvanilla

Topping:

  • 1 cupfrozen whipped cream, thawed
  • 12strawberries
  • 2 tbspsprinkles

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients for vanilla pudding and cook it stirring occasionally until it thickens.
  2. Let it cold.
  3. Layer glasses or bowls first with 1 tbsp plain cake, then pudding, then chocolate cake.
  4. Top it with whipped cream.
  5. Place a strawberry on the very top and add sprinkles.
  6. Cool it in refrigerator for 1 hour before serving.
